Eight Miles of Barbed Wire - An exhibition of work by artist Clay Ellis. The catalogue front and back covers are wrapped with embossed 'barbed wire' typography containing the title of the show. Text and essay pages are suspended or 'hung' within the centre of the book. This reinforcement of the tent-like structures created by the artist is also evident in the hanging typographic elements adorning each page. High quality close up photographic details allow the viewer to appreciate the work at actual size. Shown at the Esplanade Arts & Heritage Centre. |
