Harder Lee Photography - Identity

Photographers Brian Harder & Trudie Lee required a new visual identity that reflected their own personalitites and photography practices while still representing a shared common studio, resources and clients.

Photographers are hired for their own unique vision and ultimately how they execute it. Our challenge for the photographic team was to take an image of each other's eyes to reflect this individual vision but while the execution acted as a collective identity. Business card size 'cameras' were created incorporating the eye (lens) from each photographer. The cards contained a small hole (aperture) drilled in the centre of each card, while the card rear contained contact information using a simple typographic treatment.

The same visual approach was applied to other aspects of their print collateral including; postcards, DVD covers and labels. A website was also created using eyes as the central visual theme.
