Off The Map - Exhibition Leaflet Off The Map is a portrayal of multiple artist’s work exploring invisible and unconventional landmarks and approaches to mapping. Shown at the Dunlop Art Gallery in Regina Saskatchewan. A small production budget and low resolution images required the design of the leaflet to focus upon the typography. Color-coding, charting and the creation of a legend provided easy access to the work and text about each artist. Hidden spaces and paragraph breaks were visually enhanced reinforcing the 'off the map' concept. The essay component found inside of the leaflet 'is mapped'. Paragraphs are removed and colour coded to create easy access and reference for each artist. The cover provides an unconventional glimpse of the artists works (in their assigned color). |
