Graphex Competition Graphex is an Icograda endorsed national design competition that has been celebrating the best of visual communication in Canada since 1977. The primary goals of Graphex are to promote the value of design to the Canadian public and business community - Good Design Is Good Business - and to create an archive of Canadian design for future generations to reflect upon and study. The competition is presented by the GDC (Society of Graphic Designers of Canada). At the conclusion of each Graphex competition, GDC carefully documents all the winning submissions and archives them in a beautifully designed and produced catalogue. Winning entries also form part of a national touring exhibition. In 2003 the projects Efflorescence & Id and Lubberland II received awards of merit. In 2006 the project Hindsight also received an award of merit. |
